Arthur D'Angelo

Art D’Angelo has a proven track record of successful financial management and innovation. He has led change management processes and financial operations in several companies, including Cordiant Communications Group Limited, publicly traded U.K./U.S. As a result of his assistance, the companies he worked with recognized sustainable increased operating margins. He is a leader that motivates his staff to achieve higher levels of personal and corporate performance.
Art started as an accountant for Ernst & Ernst (forerunner of E&Y). He became a tax specialist working for multinational clients. He then joined BP America as a tax specialist focused on international tax planning/compliance and was heavily involved in BP America’s acquisitions (both in the U.S. and internationally).
In 1987, Art joined Saatchi & Saatchi Holdings (SSH) as Tax Director of U.S. Operations. He focused on building an efficient tax compliance and planning process for the over 130 U.S. subsidiaries of SSH and participated in over 10 acquisitions. He later became primarily responsible for the disposition of several SSH units.
In 1994, Art joined Bates USA (a subsidiary of Saatchi & Saatchi Group) as the North American CFO responsible for Finance, I.T., and Real Estate. While at Bates, he instituted a change management process which led to increased operating margins. In 1997, Art became CFO of Bates Worldwide. Art continued implementing operating margin growth strategies and increased efficiency by establishing global centralized real estate, I.T., and other administrative services.
In 1997 the Saatchi & Saatchi Group was reorganized into two companies: Saatchi & Saatchi and Cordiant. Art led the demerger process for Cordiant. Then Cordiant went public in the U.K./U.S. and included over 130 companies in 70 countries where Art became the worldwide CFO of Cordiant and a member of the Board of Directors.
In 2003, he established a consulting firm known as Sustainable Growth Strategies, LLC (SGS). SGS worked with companies to innovate their operations. Later in 2004, Art became an investor in CX Solutions – a company focused on customer satisfaction and became its CFO.
Art later joined gyro, LLC in 2008 as CFO. gyro was a B2B advertising and marketing company in several countries. His duties included financial management, margin improvement, integration, change management, M&A, and strategic growth planning. During his tenure as CFO, margins improved, and he was part of the acquisition team completing several acquisitions in the U.S. and worldwide. gyro went on to become the #1 B2B agency group worldwide. In 2016, gyro, LLC was acquired by Dentsu.
Post the sale of gyro, LLC, Art returned to consulting work and in 2022 joined Connective Partners, LLC as a member and CFO and The AceleraConnective LLC as CFO.
