Andrew “Andy” Ross founded the Law Office of Andrew Ross after 35 years of practice at large national and international law firms. In addition to utilizing Andy’s legal and business expertise, his firm has developed a deep network of legal specialists.

Andy’s clients are frequently in the marketing communications and technology fields and range from publicly held multinationals to privately held emerging growth companies.

Andy’s corporate, business, and securities practice includes domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, venture capital and general corporate representation. His practice also involves representing senior executives in employment agreements and other compensation arrangements.

Over the last 40 years, Andy has represented marketing communications companies, holding companies and private equity firms in approximately 100 acquisitions, including roll-ups, as well as representing many parties in other fields in acquisitions.

Andy has often appeared on television and online broadcasts in China and the United States, including on CNN, and lectured extensively on mergers and acquisitions in China and the United States. Andy has also published numerous articles, including in Chinese publications.

Andy is an active member of the New York State Bar Association. Previously he has been a member of the State Bar of California (inactive status). He served as the Chairman of the Board and Executive Committee of Let’s Get Ready! (a not-for-profit organization assisting disadvantaged students with college access).

Andy received his B.A. summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from SUNY Albany and his J.D. from Stanford Law School where was an Editor of The Stanford Law Review and author of a published Note. Andy is an avid basketball fan, works out extensively and has written three novels. Andy lives in New York with his wife and has one child.
